The Koshur World: A Celebration of Kashmir’s Timeless Elegance

Growing up in the enchanting valleys of Kashmir, the appreciation of beauty came naturally to me. From streets adorned with vibrant Chinar leaves to the elegance of men and women draped in Pherans and Pashmina, my connection to my heritage has always been profound.

At the age of eight, I was gifted my first Pheran with intricate Sozni embroidery—a beautiful beige piece adorned with delicate brown threadwork. By twelve, I owned my first Qurab Tilla Pheran, the most luxurious item in my wardrobe. These experiences not only deepened my love for Pherans but also sparked a lifelong fascination with the artistry behind them—the cuts, the patterns, and the stories woven into every thread.

At one point, I decided to share this passion with the world. With the unwavering support of my two incredible children, who believed in my dreams, and my parents, who provided guidance and strength, The Koshur World was born. This brand is a tribute to my roots and a platform to bring Kashmir’s traditional attire to a global audience with unmatched finesse.
